About Janis Consulting
Janis Consulting was founded in 2017 as a culture change and leadership alignment firm. For years, our work was getting leadership teams on the same page and helping organizations navigate hard transitions. Then in 2024, our clients started asking a new question:
What do we do about AI?
We made the pivot because the work is the same at its core. AI adoption is not a technology problem. It is a people problem, and people problems are what we have solved from the beginning.
Our founder, Joshua Janis, studied philosophy, which turns out to be exactly the right training for the AI era: asking what a technology should do, not just what it can do. That thinking shapes everything we deliver, and it is why our approach is Human-Centric AI. Humans first, always.

The team behind the work holds itself to a simple standard: mastery is a habit, not a credential. Everyone at Janis Consulting has pursued something to an expert level, from Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belts to doctorates. We believe people who have done hard things over long timelines bring that same discipline to your organization.
